Hey everyone,

I wanted to start a chat about drag racing 1/4 & 1/8 mile times. I thought it would be interesting to see what everyone is running for times vs modifications.

About a month ago I finished my l67+4t65e swap into my 85' gt. I haven't done any mods to the engine aside from deleting a few things like egr, evap, etc and its otherwise a stock trim L67.
Last weekend i got a chance to run at the local drag strip. My best run was 14.198 @ 95.37 mph in the 1/4 with a .206 reaction time, and 2.121 60'.
We were racing at about 2680' of elevation and it was 32 degree Celsius or about 90 Fahrenheit and the humidity was as thick as a brick.

Unfortunately i didn't have things setup to data log my passes but i was pretty happy with that time for a stock l67.

Let's see what everyone else is running for times and mods in comparison!

We have a quarter mile list here:

What's up with your launch? I ask because I once got a 2.106 60' time with an 85 GT 2.8, so it looks like there should be room for improvement there.

I ran my all original '88 GT once in the 1/8th. That was embarrassing and will never happen again.

Now, I ran my '85 GT and that did mid 9's in the 1/4. That car has a full moly chassis with a 468 BBC in the front.
