First impression is they started with a Camaro and just tweaked it. The hood height looks raised for a front engine setup. The back looks like a Fiero.

Doesn't look too bad for me. In fact, I dig those wheels.

I saw this on instagram yesterday and haven't felt so uncomfortable in a long time. I hate it so much

For the last one, I don't know that you have to start with the current Fiero chassis. But you also don't have to start with a Camaro like the first one.

I have been doodling on a side view of my car for the last year or so....The car actually does have a 86-88 GT rear clip and 87-88 front base car nose, along with my own design "B" pillars....But I want to add a blended kick-tail in the rear....After, I started playing with other ideas;

1) Smoothed transition hood/fender/door belt-line (Might do this)

2) Fender flares that absorb the rub strip

3) Shorter front end (Less driveway scraping)

4) 2 inch longer rear- smoother "fastback" and more trunk space

5 Front fender vent for air under the hood/headlights

Here are the two concepts together ...

I'm going to cry 'foul' on the ultra-thin LED headlights (not currently possible).

To do the new body design, a total rework of the Fiero body and space frame would be required. Even the roof line is way different.
Be happy with what you have. This artists drawing will never come to fruition.

Yep, much better. It really is a darn shame that Pontiac went into the Crapper. Who would make a modernized Fiero? Are there any examples of car names that were re-used by another maker?

The best example of a car company going under but it's best car continuing on for years after was Studebaker and their Avanti...Studebaker ceased auto manufacturing in 1963 but the Avanti continued on in different guises and under different ownership up until 2006.....

It would have been really cool if someone (Rich) had grabbed the main manufacturing hardware for the Fiero- but all of that is probably long gone.....

Remember, the Avanti was originally sold in 1963- It looks dated now but it blew everyone's mind back in '63!

It would be a waste to not start with a newly designed space frame for a new offering.
