I figured instead of starting a new thread every time someone has a new discount code, we could keep it all in one thread. Whenever someone has a new code to share, we can drop it in here.
Of course, you're free to disagree. LMK what you think.
For those who aren't familiar with RockAuto discount codes, they're pretty easy to use. When you order something from the RockAuto website, paste a code into the "how did you hear about us" box, and it'll calculate the discount. It's usually a 5% discount. And RockAuto encourages people to share the codes.
This code is good until 20 Sep 2020: 145698664111060738
I noticed lately, RockAuto has been inflating shipping prices. Even with the discount, the total price is sometimes higher than other vendors. So I would suggest to shop around.

As many already know, RockAuto does not ship out of one warehouse. The items they sell are being shipped from all over the US. Sometimes it's worthwhile to pay a bit more for a certain brand over another, as its shipping cost to you due to location may be cheaper. And when purchasing multiple items, try to buy as many as possible that originate from the same shipping location. Items being ordered from multiple locations really inflates the shipping costs. Although this may sound complicated to organize, it's actually pretty easy to figure out when placing the online order.
Yeah, I've noticed that. And I've done my fair share of "parts jockeying" to get stuff shipped all from the same warehouse. Even then, it's still sometimes cheaper to buy elsewhere. As always, caveat emptor.

Oh, for sure. As much as I like RockAuto, I also check prices (including shipping fees) elsewhere... whether that be eBay, Amazon or wherever. Requiring goods to be shipped across the border is a nuisance (and added expense) as well. I used to have US purchased goods shipped to a drop-site on the US side of the border, and then drive across to pick it up... but with the border now closed due to COVID, this is no longer possible.

Rock Auto won't ship a lot of parts I try to buy to CA. They are trying to abide by the restrictive cancer warning law that was passed that requires certification from any manufacturer. Things like light bulbs and fuses and spark plug wires often won't be shipped by Rock Auto.
