Such a tastefully done Fiero, nothing is 'overboard' it's really a perfect representation of what these little cars can be. Thanks for sharing the current state of the car, it looks amazing.

Joel,
The car is officially done. Done as it will be for a bit. The only thing left is to swap in the mint dash and replace the slightly cracked one that is in the car now. And lastly I plan to swap wheels at some point, but just going to enjoy the car for a bit before that. I can honestly say the entire car is rebuilt virtually from the ground up on this with the exception of pulling panels off, I think about every part or bolt has been touched and/or replaced. It drives very very good. I do I guess also have Danyel Potvin's low pro pop up headlights, but the regular ones have been re-done with all new parts and LED bulbs.

Thanks,
Amir

It's been a while, but wanted to update the forum. The GBCT is very much alive. It has gone through tons of mechanical changes and also tons of cosmetic things to keep it looking as good as possible. New wheels, interior, headlights, etc. And lastly shortly after the 40th, the car decided to spin a rod bearing. I wasn't too sure what to do at the time, but I talked to Brian Sanburn (sluppy123) on here. He decided to take on the task and would help me get it all going again. I decided to go with a 3800SC with a F23 5spd (Spec Stage 3+) with the RPO code FY1 gear ratio of 3.63:1. Also went with a XP Cam, Full ZZP Intercooler, 3.0" pulley, LS7 lifters, 80lb injectors, Northstar Throttle body and LQ4 maf. Brian made an equal length exahust and we decided to go with E85. It is getting closer and I couldn't be more happy and glad Brian agreed to help me. It's been fantastic and his work is just unreal!

Here are some updated pictures of the car with the new wheels and engine/transmission.

That looks like it turning out well. Any video of it running? Seems strange for it not to have a V8 rumble....but a supercharger whine is a nice substitute!
