Man, how do you choose? I haven't saw one I didn't like although Rverhalen <sp> has a very cool custom! I may be joining the ranks of Notchies soon. I have a very good friend and mentor who is considering selling me his 88 base coupe. The guy is like my father and is meticulous with maintence and replaces stuff well before it is needed. He had an 88GT Auto and an 88 Formula 5 speed but already sold them a few years ago. The one he has left is all black with the black lace wheels and GT spoiler. I will try to get a photo of it and post it. On the other hand maybe I can convince him to swap the N* out of his wifes Caddy and then buy it.
IMO, the notchback style can be made to look very nice as many of the photos here show. If you like that style, you are bteer off with it weight wise as a notchback is lighter than a fastback. My favorite rear end treatment for the notchback is the seldom used , wrap around" spoiler that surrounds the deck lid on three sides. I believe that it may be the IMSA style.

Mine is the best notchback of all because it was made, not born! Born a 1988 GT fastback, for nostalgia I had her stripped and remade into a notchie. 88 suspension, brand new engine, etc..
I'm going to have to vote TWICE....DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNNNNNN Once for my car....or course
AND Once for Jordans car

I could have swore that I posted to this thread but after going through all 3 pages can't find it, here is the 85 GT that i just sold a few months ago.
Well I guess this I'll put my GT on here even though its currently a poor excuse for a Fiero, but it will get better.... Some guy spun out right into the nose of my GT and took off before he could be stopped. But its all good, i got the car damaged for $600 and it'll look good when im done fully restoring it.
WOW. Where can I find more details on what you've done with this? Custom nose? I've seen that dash before. It was expensive if I remember right (but worth it) is he still producing?
Do you have a few more pics. It looks to me that the center section of your roof is painted black and I'd like to get a better view of that if possible. Years ago I had a '86 SE and I cannot for the life of me decide if I want a gt or a notchie now.

Here are a couple of shots that show the roof better, and yes its painted black.
