Really, it isn't a bad rebody job. I'm surprised that he can get through inspections, though. The added headlights may be OK but the taillights are way higher than what is allowed by NHTSA.

I appreciate that the wheels line up with the wheel well. That's my biggest complaint with these rebodies .

Pretty sure NHTSA only applies to manufacturers. You would have to see local laws for modifications. Look at all the jacked up trucks in texas.

Must be a state law here. Lots of folks have been cited for lifted vehicles due to lighting being too high. I know it isn't on our book of ordinances, so it isn't a city or county thing.
