For 2022, the Best in the Midwest contest will focus on some of our longest-standing members of the Fiero community - those who have been involved in the hobby for 30 or more years. This award will be selected by each host club at their headline event, and as in past years - finalists will be invited to compete in a special class at Fierorama in September 2022. The award is officially titled, “Best in the Midwest - Classic Fiero Owners.” Follow our facebook page, see our events list. Check out our website. As I posted in other social media. Thank you everyone for your congratulations. It is an honor to be considered among the previous winners. I would be remiss if my wife Carol was not included in this honor hence her inclusion in the picture. She has been my enabler and partner in this Fiero obsession since the purchase of our 1984 SE back in January 1984. When we purchased our 1988 GT she promptly said she needed a Fiero along with our two children. The purchase of V8 Archie’s Stinger, a white Formula, and later a low mileage red Formula rounded out our collection. I did own an 1986 silver SE for about an hour before flipping it with Shawn Yorway. Carol has never said no when it comes to Fieros. These days she just says we don’t have room in the garage. We have reduced the number of Fieros from four to three as we get older but still enjoy them and meeting up with our Fiero friends and family. I look forward to seeing everyone at this year’s Fierorama in Chicago.

Midwest Fiero Clubs Region of the AACA is proud to announce the winner of BEST IN THE MIDWEST 2022! Pete Grosz of the Minnesota Fieros Forever car club with his 1986 Fiero GT! The 2022 Best in the Midwest competition recognized some of our longest standing members of the Fiero community. This was a tight competition with many great people and many great Fieros! Pete Grosz received a beautiful custom acrylic award. We salute all those who participated, and we look forward to seeing you all at future Fiero events!
