The hood used the stock under support. The top is all one piece molded.

My hood vent is a modified STM vent from thadriver. The leading edge of the hood vent opening was reshaped to be parallel with the front edge of the hood and intersect the center of the headlight opening. The lower portion of the opening was also trimmed to make it parallel with the leading edge of the opening as well as to make the opening larger. Seal surface for the frunk was left stock.

Here is one scoop I saw at the I!SA race this year. Benz has the scoop between the radiator and the engine. It is used for down force and better cooling for the radiator. It removes the high pressure and remove air from under the car.
