Been lurking awhile, finally picked up my first Fiero. Super clean 86 GT V6 5 Speed with a mere 81k original miles and a pile of records to go with it all the way back to 1987. Love it so far. And I must say, all the general flack about the lack of power, sure seems like the 2.8 is not bad at all for an eco sports car, plenty of fun to drive around some curves!

Do have one initial question, what went here or goes here in these screw holes? I assume some sort of cover...

The duke is kind of gutless... but a properly running 2.8, especially in tandem with a manual transmission, is nothing to complain about. And it sounds good as well.

I suspect there was something non-factory installed there by a previous owner... and then removed.

Oh my, that E-brake is pointing up at the sky. Either the rear pads are worn or the e-brake could be adjusted up quite a bit.
