That's amazing! Even more amazing: $149 (some kind of currency) including shipping to North America - 2 day target UPS delivery. For that size parcel?!?

"Our art pieces are laser cut from 2mm thick steel, thus guaranteeing high quality."

2mm = 5/64"

That's rather thin. I imagine the finished piece weighs next to nothing.

2mm isteel s what I used to reinforce my subframe/cradle. It's quite thick and heavy.

2mm is "thick"? European millimetres must larger than millimetres elsewhere.

Cool. It doesn't have an engine so 2mm should be enough.

This could be also made with a 3Dprinter (in parts) or even a 3D pen...hmm

Also the metric system is 2,54 times better then the imperial system

That is cool, but I hope they are cutting out lots of smaller stuff in the large voids to avoid wasting a lot of metal. I can do similar art work pieces on my CNC plasma (and could fit the 30" one), but wouldn't want to waste that much metal. A 12 x 36 piece of 16ga mild steel is about $45.

2mm is 0.0787" which is thicker than 16ga that most people use for exhausts and signs, so I would not be that concerned with strength. The $149 version is the 30" (width) one, the 59" one is $319.

Both my kids are the artistic type and I have been trying to get them interested in using the CNC plasma for their art projects. The last round of birthdays I made some custom art pieces for my wife and kids.

With metric being multiples of ten, I'd say the metric system is 10 times better then the archaic imperial system (but I understand your reasoning).

Metric is actually 145,255 x better than the idiotic, illogical, impractical and ridiculous imperial system... I just can't for the life of me understand why people cling on to this ridiculous antiquated system... Oh welll ..

I know someone that got one. Me !!

It came from Lithuania.

I changed the mounting hook & screws around so I could display it in the other direction so it would match the photo.

It's painted the same on both sides.

The website showed a target 2 day delivery to North America. How'd they do? How is it packaged?

It came pretty quick, storm IAN added a few days. Was packaged well, 4 pieces of cardbord, this sandwiched between them, then all slide in a box. No chance for damage. Glad I found the discount code.

This is the prime example of something looking too good to be true but I'm so glad it's a legitimate business. The outline looks awesome.

Way, way, way back when, I made several outline sketches from the Fiero (side, front, back, top, etc). I took the side outline sketch and created a 3D print out of it:

It's not as big as the metal one sold by the company discussed in this thread; it's "only" 13.2 inches wide. But it's more accurate. I'm thinking of "selling" them. You know, if you donate a certain amount to PFF, I will send you this awesome wall art. 😁
