About El Segundo {Los Angeles} California
This is famous {was?} for housing the Zimmerman Automobile Driving Museum.
Those who love everything about cars should visit the museum as it houses several classic and vintage cars.

Damm, for me it is a six-hour trip and they're close their doors tomorrow.......

According to the Zimmerman Automobile Driving Museum's Facebook page it appears they are closing their doors on October 27th.

The museum located in El Segundo, California opened its doors in 2002 and housed an impressive collection of historic vehicles.

At this time no reason has been provided.

The Facbook post read as follows:

"After many wonderful years in El Segundo, the Zimmerman Automobile Driving Museum will be closing to the public on October 27, 2024. We are saddened to be leaving, and grateful that we made so many lasting connections in the automotive community. We look forward to our last month open, and welcome everyone to come check us out one last time. We will be open Friday-Sunday 10am-4pm, and we will have Sunday Rides every Sunday in October."

Another California business down the drain and there is no end in sight........

In a 2023 GoFundMe fundraiser, it said that with the death of co-founder and principal sponsor Stanley Zimmerman in 2020, the museum had “no sustainable future” and was “in imminent peril of closing.”
