It seems like almost everything is there... honestly, $5,000 bucks, and probably $1,000 for shipping, even if you don't like the kit... this is a pretty amazing deal for a car that already has a N* swapped in.
Discuss, Fiero family... tell me why I shouldn't buy this, and why you should...
This project is REALLY going to make someone's day! It's a Northstar VIN9 V8 (300hp). It comes with an interior kit. There is no convertible top. The body has been professionally painted. The front bumper is off because it sits slightly low and I didn't want any damage to it. It will need the final 10-15% of the project finished. Interior, exhaust, etc. Super nice Ferrari wheels! What you see is what you get.
The "final 10-15%"? I dunno, it might be a bit more than that.
Yes, there's a Northstar sitting in the engine bay... but what condition is it in? Does it even run?
Too many unknowns and very incomplete to make a $5,000 purchase. First off the N* engines have a poor reputation for reliability, especially the early ones. Find the Car Wizards video on You Tube and he explains why. The car is not driveable, engine condition unknown, may not have been wired, the interior is in pieces and more importantly there is no convertible top?. My value on this vehicle is $1000 on a "take a chance" parts car. IMO, it's someones failed project.

My impulsive side tells me it's definitely worth more than $1,000... and that it could be worth $20k if done well.
But the big question is something you've eluded to in a way... WHY did he never finish the car IF it supposedly comes with everything, minus the convertible top?
Hahah... yes. You guys are my support therapy, and thankfully, you've saved me from impulsively buying more cars!
So, I don't know if you guys know... but Tampa is a HUUUGE car "city." There are at least three TV shows filmed down here (Car Fix, Two Guys Garage, All Girls Garage, and actually a couple of lesser-known). There's a dozen YouTube "famous" shows filmed down here... because the vehicle laws are so lax and cars don't rust down here. But one of the things I noticed down here, is that most of the homes are older homes built on 1 acre lots, where people have huge structures in the back. Almost everyone owns a classic or hobby car. I intentionally got a house in a good school district with a defined number of garage spots so that I wouldn't allow myself to load up on cars!

Let me ask my Wife. She said if I bought it, that it would confirm I am stupid. She told me to let her know if you are stupid.
Joking there but life is too short to finish a project by someone else, which was never finished. Too many other things in life can bring much better emotional rewards, considering you already have a Fiero. Your feeding your addiction already helping your Daughter restore hers. Which builds valuable parent child lifelong bonding.
Why is Tampa a rust free environment (Gulf Coast) and Florida's Atlantic coast not so much ?
oh hey I know this car. the engine is pretty much hooked in minus the correct harness. he "has" one but wanted more money for it when I looked at this in person. yeah if your gut says stock harness you are correct. the top is actually just gone. guy he got it from "lost" it and I forget what body kit it is since he told me but it was called something really strange and I cannot for the life of me remember. also be careful since this has been listed on marketplace as well and the only good bit on it is the bodykit and ironically the northstar
