Really appreciate everyone who's been watching my daughter's channel. We finally got around to making the video last night with Cliff Pennock and AJ's interview. She had the opportunity to travel to the Netherlands, and we coordinated a meet-up with Cliff at Zandvoort for lunch!
This is only Part-1 of the Netherlands Trip, the second half will conclude a little bit more about Cliff, and check out some other great sights in the Netherlands.
I'd also like to give a big thanks to Cliff for giving my daughter the opportunity to interview him, and working around her travel schedule to meet with him. Thank you so much, Cliff! Thank you for watching!
Thanks guys, I appreciate it. It was really great of Cliff to take time out and work around our schedule too.
Patrick, it didn't appear to be that bad on the camera when I took it, but I didn't have too many other options. If I sat where my daughter was, and she sat where I was, I think it would have been worse. If Cliff had sat at the other end of the table, then you would have just been looking at the bar, unfortunately. I really wanted the beach and open air in the background.
Unfortunately, we had to take the whole video with my wife's iPhone since I couldn't really bring those big cameras on the plane with me. All of that was shot with an iPhone rather than me normally using the Cannon.
AJ's You Tube show should be on MotorTrend TV. The girl is good on camera, understands technical work, speaks well and looks great. There are nowhere near enough young folks in this hobby today. AJ can give it the boost that it needs.

It was fun meeting you guys! And thank you for touching up my Fiero in the video's thumbnail! 😄
I've been interviewed twice now (that I can remember). Once for the Fiero Focus magazine, and this is the second time. The first time I was pretty sick and was taking prednison which made my face (and whole body really) bloat like a balloon. So the picture taken for the cover wasn't the most flattering. Now, due to a few injuries (foot, back and wrist) I haven't been able to do any sports or go to the gym in the past two years so I gained almost 25 lbs in a very short time. So again, you caught me at the worst time. Not that I'm vain or anything (just a little 😉) but just thought I should mention it. 😁
Dennis, I'll shoot them an e-mail. I'm kind of hoping that if something happens, it happens naturally. I remember another girl on here that got semi-famous from working on her Fiero, and things didn't turn out so well, even got some creeps coming after her. So I'm hesitant to really push anything. I want her to focus on getting the car finished first and then we'll see where it goes from there. I promised her we'd build another Fiero together that she can do whatever she wants (she's thinking totally gutted, big engine, race car like... so we'll see how that ends up).

My comments are based on someone who I believe is as good on camera as anyone that I've ever seen on MotorTrend TV. AJ is poised, articulate, knowledgeable, intelligent and looks comfortable in her videos. She is excellent at presentations asking questions and providing solutions. The other girl that you mentioned, went online got started with a Fiero build project then lost interest and walked away leaving her project in limbo. She received a lot of help from the Fiero community and left suddenly , but with hobbies that sometimes happens.
