I’m about to replace my wiper motor on my 85 GT. I have the new one and am ready to go (other than waiting for a clear day to do it since it’s been raining the last few days)
Anyhow, I’ve never replaced a wiper motor on a Fiero and I would like to know if you have any tips or suggestions on how to do it.
Here are two pics
of my pretty new wiper motor: 😀

Check in the back of your Pontiac Fiero Service Manual before the body section for tips on the wiper motor

Make sure your wipers are in the "park" position, and I suggest a windshield wiper arm remover tool like Lisle 65750 or equivalent

Check on the wiper arm removal tool. (already have one)
Check on the park position of the wiper arms. I will also mark the wiper arms and shafts for re/orientation when I put it back together,
Anything else?

Did you read and understood the wiper motor removal / installation section in the Pontiac Fiero Service Manual?

No, not yet.
I do have a FSM but haven’t really had the time to read it yet. 🙁
I will do that before I start.
