Seems there were various old Improved Touring / LeMons / Champcar / etc. Fiero's coming up for sale somewhat regularly (or maybe cyclically). Seems it has been quiet for some time lately. I know of a GT1/GT2 car that sold recently in MI and went to WI for restoration, but nothing of late of any stock chassis based cars. Who's got them? What are your plans?

As retirement gets closer, I am thinking I probably can't continue to support racing both a GT1 & a GT2 tube frame car and will likely get serious about selling one in the new year (maybe both???).

Really need to see more of these crowd pleasers on track. Whenever ours are out they never fail to draw attention be it for being unique, or from previous Fiero owners (street cars) who recollect fond memories of ownership. Let's get them back out there in the new year!

I wouldn't mind finding a race body I could adapt to my LS4/F40/Turbo car. Used to want to covert a tube chassis car back to street duty, but only have space for one Fiero.

No, you really don't want to adapt a race body to a street chassis - the street version of the "IMSA Widebody" kit already has the mounting points you need. The "race" body is just the outer skins with no mounting points.

Converting a tube frame car to street use - yes, I have looked at mine and I guess it could be done - especially it it were already set up for endurance racing (lights / wipers) - but SO limited - It is difficulat to get our tube frame car in and out of the driveway without dragging in place/

I am aware of the differences between race and street versions, as well as the difficulty of installing a race body on a stock chassis.

It is still a long term goal as I want the wider track width (than street IMSA body), room for wheels/tires, and overall uniqueness that only the race body provides.
