Although I think the new Challenger (2008-) is better looking than most other cars, I think it's belt-line is too high....So, being bored, while stuck at home due to breaking my left clavicle, I decided to muck around with a pic of one in Paint....I think it looks much better.....what do you guys think?

The modified one looks better. Why? Because it more closely resembles the first generation Challenger... which looks the best by far! I also feel that Dodge blatantly ripped off the look of the '67-'69 Camaro, but maybe that's just me.

1970 Dodge Challenger

Yes, the lettering is backwards... because I flipped the photo around to match the orientation of the previous images.

I don't really think the newer one looks like a Camaro.
But, to be fair, I don't think the newer Camaro looks like a Camaro, either. I think it looks like a cartoon of a Camaro.

My real complaint about the newer Challenger is that it's freakin' huge. If you've ever driven/parked a newer one, you'll understand.
When Dodge was talking about a redesign, around 2012, I was thinking that the size and shape would lend itself perfectly to a latter-day Satellite/Road Runner/GTX redux.

This was my 2009 R/T. I find myself lusting after another one, but even used ones are stupidly expensive. And probably beat to death.

One of my favorite cars was the 2nd gen Road Runner (1971-74) with the body-color bumpers- I always liked the "Fuselage Body" which wrapped under....

I know this is an older post, but I missed it and I love what you did with that Challenger. They've always looked 'fat' to me, kind of like every American pickup truck after the mid 90s. Like all of our cars now have a beer gut.
