Ok, I will set them up with a User and an Admin account. Change the passwords on both accounts once you get the laptop. (Log in, hit ctrl+alt+del, then change password. Use the user account, and if you need to install anything, it will prompt you for your admin account. then use the credentials of the admin account.
Damn i7 Laptops for 85 bucks, what has the world came to, kinda kills me asking 100 bucks for my Dual Core 2.8ghz laptop. That has a sketchy HD. WOW, you are either hard up for cash, or really just wanted them gone. Please don't tell me they had HDMI outputs? If they did I am really going to be kicking my a$$. My daughter is turning 5 and I wanted to get her, a starter laptop. Considering we pay 100 bucks for her touch screen kids tablet, your deal would have been perfect.

I left them on overnight (burn in) I noticed one of them had a bad battery. I swapped it out with a 'newish' one.
The one thing I didn't put on them is Antivirus. There are plenty of free ones, I'll leave that to you. Also, random note -->the 2540's have a touch panel to control the wifi, volume, touchpad, and other things. Just wanted you to be aware of that. (It's not apparent that they are actually buttons, they look like they are just indicators(lights) (They are those lights on the little black strip between the LCD and the KBD)

Got the laptop today. VERY nice condition. I'd give TDA a plus but he's had one for years. Wait. Maybe I gave a plus to his alter ego. I'll have to check. Anyway, 2 thumbs up!
Well just so people know. My wife plays world of war craft. For giggles we installed it on the laptop. It is able to run at fair settings. Runs pretty smooth as well.
I didn't realize the admin account didn't have the "password never expires" checkbox checked.
So sorry about that! You just need to log into the laptop AS the admin. When you put in the password, it will say that one has expired, and to please type a new one. you should be able to put in the same one. Here's how to set it so it never expires: http://www.sevenforums.com/...-enable-disable.html
