You know what I find contemptible? Messages (recurring messages) that are conceived by "Jason" (a fictional screen name) as a barely disguised and underhanded way to assert that anyone on this forum who doesn't line up, politically and culturally, with Jason, is "mental". As in mentally ill, or even certifiably insane, on one recent occasion.
It's unmistakable in the way that the messages are worded and framed, that anyone who doesn't line up with Jason on such matters is "mental" because they don't line up with Jason on such matters. Such is the assertion.
It's an underhanded way of skirting the forum's guideline requirement (or recommendation) for "civility".
