"Greta Thunberg claps back at Andrew Tate on Twitter"
quote
Tate had requested the 19-year-old climate activist's email so he could send a "complete list of my car collection and their respective enormous [carbon dioxide] emissions."
The diva of fossil fuels divestment fired back on Twitter with a fictitious email address that I best not repeat on this forum.
The exotic, high-powered cars that Andrew Tate is bragging about, like his Bugatti and his two Ferraris, are likely to be garaged most of the time as collector cars and so, not racking up all that many road miles in the foreseeable future. Ergo, it's the carbon dioxide from the manufacture of these vehicles that counts, more than the carbon dioxide from driving them, when the global warming contribution is assessed. Rendering Andrew Tate's braggadocio about the "gi-normity" of these cars' tailpipe emissions something of a moot point.
So said someone in the course of that Twitter conversation. I thought that was insightful.

Sure, .
I have a CJ7 Jeep, a 1988 Fiero T top, my F259 diesel P/U, and my wife drives a Toyota Rav 4. None of those rack up many road miles.
Collector car, ???? ? Tell us about them. Does he walk when he is not driving them ?
The thread title mentions Greta's "saucy riposte", but it seems that Tate was fingered by the box which brought him a saucy repast. Pizzagate part deux?
" Sure, on paper it looks like a great tax haven, until you get arrested in a shakedown. ' How do you say ' bribe ' in Romanian ? ' Years from now, Tate will retreat from the Black Sea country, fleeced and thoroughly cleaned out, roughly nine of ten. Could be worse, could be imprisoned in some dungeon, chomped by a Vampire ! lol ! Bram Stoker's Dracula
Could it be true ? Is the Swedish Storm Princess a hermaphrodite, endowed with a teeny... uh, uh, uh... organ ? Modeled after Joan of Arc, in armor, wielding a mighty blade ! What a glorious life she has led, the Thunder Goddess from far Sweden addressing the UN, changing the world for better ! Right ? It will get better, right ? Joan of Arc, for Fascists and Feminists

Carla Howe... uh.. uh.. a fantasy date for Tate in the Romanian prison built in the 19th century, medieval, like. 5' 5" 115 lbs. ... Listen as she speaks in her country twang.... A Playboy fantasy, gazing at the wall of the cell, to dissolve and obscure the imagined image of the scantily clad Swedish Storm Princess, Greta. As the story develops, it is becoming clear that they are so, so, very deep into the Transylvanian sex sting trap, and will have to negotiate massive bribes to pay the ransoms. That is the way of things in the east. Worth spending some time to read of Vlad Dracula's life in the 15th century, a few decades before Columbus sailed south, then west, into the Atlantic. The history of Romania explained in ten minutes Sure, 20 million in gold to the mob running the joint. Maybe more. ' What can we do to be free ? '
"Romanian authorities seize several luxury cars from Andrew Tate" January 14
Andrew Tate had used Twitter to "troll" famed Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg about the CO2 emissions from his luxury and high performance collector's cars.
Segue to mining company LKAB, which claims discovery of a "Rare Earths Bonanza" in Sweden. They're calling it the largest known deposit of rare earth elements in Europe. Rare earths, along with lithium and cobalt, are the crucial raw materials for EV batteries and other electronics and "low/zero carbon" technologies. The deposit is near the northernmost town in Sweden, just north of the Arctic Circle.
