My personal opinion, all of this is political. It's nothing more than attempting to paint him in a negative light, which they hope will both detract from Biden's own issues, and make Trump look unelectable. There is a reason why all of these indictments are being done seemingly one after another, and only after the other one runs it's course. This one too will run it's course... but Trump will not be convicted criminally.
What Democrats don't seem to understand though, that with every move they make like this, they continue to increase support to Trump. It's not reducing it. They're essentially turning him into a martyr.

Honestly, how many politicians can say in public that his followers are stupid and still get this kind of support? It just boggles my mind.
If Trump had never been in any trouble before all of this I could possibly understand why someone might think it is all political, but he has been proven in court to be a lying crook and yet they still blindly believe anything he says.
I am praying that he wins the Republican nomination because it will guarantee a victory by Democrats. Trump supporters are loud, but there are fewer of them than there were in 2020 when he last the last election. SOME Republicans are actually able to think for themselves.
I doubt he ever does any jail time, but from what I have seen he will certainly get convicted of at least some of these charges.
The same people that claim the Trump charges were just "political" also claimed that the January 6th incident was nothing criminal. But hundreds have been convicted and given jail time. Some for over 10 years for Sedition and Aggravated assault on a Polic Officer.

My probation was due to a "disagreement" with a member who was also put on probation at the same time, and shortly thereafter banned from the forum. My short-term probation was worth it if it helped to permanently rid the forum of a pestilence.
