Trump accomplished many things Americans. The list is long.

The impeachment hearing will not take place in your echo chamber where "allegations" equal "proof".
What is the strongest evidence that Biden did anything like this?
Hunters lap top says it all. No allegations were denied. That the lap top was Hunter's has proven to be true. What kind of savvy business experience does a crack addict, kicked out of the military, have to make millions, only with foreign governments ? How do you explain how his grand kids got millions in their bank accounts ?

I don't know what you are talking about. There is no evidence on the laptop of illegal or corrupt action by Joe Biden.

Hunter Biden has a law degree from Yale.
After college he went to work for MBNA and rose to the level of vice-president.
He was appointed to the Board of Directors of Amtrack by REPUBLICAN President George W. Bush.
He became involved in investment banking in 2006 when he and his uncle James Biden purchased international hedge fund Paradigm Global Advisors. the later founded Seneca Global Advisors and had been in the business 7 years before getting involved in Chine by founding BHR Partners.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — As evidence of bribery and corruption by the Biden family continues to mount, Democrat lawmakers in the nation's capital have expressed heavy skepticism, saying they will need a lot more than just eyewitnesses, financial records, audio and video recordings, and admissions of guilt from parties involved for them to believe any of it.

There are no audio tapes proving corruption or illegal activity.

There are no bank records proving any corruption or illegal activity.
There are no admissions of guilt proving any corruption or illegal activity.
This is the point I have been making all along. The hearings will not take place in an echo chamber where "allegations" equal "evidence". This is exactly why I am happing for the official investigation. It will prove that there is no legitimate evidence.
Donald Trump is under three separate indictments and is currently awaiting a fourth as the 2024 election draws near. In addition to the charges levied against him by special counsel Jack Smith and Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg, Fulton County district attorney Fani Willis is expected soon to reveal whether she will charge Trump over election interference in Georgia. And, if that weren’t enough, the former president is facing several civil suits including one led by New York’s attorney general, Letitia James, who is alleging that Trump committed business fraud. Here’s what we know so far...

Joe Biden must be right. Hunter is the smartest person he knows. Do you know how hard it is to be accepted by Yale ?
I missed it by that much !

Amtrack ? An entity which could never have existed without tax payer dollars ? How is that California Bullet Train going ?

Ah yes, the silver spoon twins.
Google James Biden.

Because people on the right would NEVER cast their support to a guy born with a silver spoon in his mouth, right? That would be really stupid, wouldn't it?
California’s high-speed rail project plays an important role as part of the broader climate solution in our state. It will provide the backbone of our statewide rail service that will increase connectivity between communities, statewide, regional and urban areas. It’s a true game changer.

The threats of a child, yes, but it seems to be all the GOP has left these days. From "We'll shut down the government and hurt everyone before we will hurt our donors!" to "Impeach the President!" even though they have nothing to warrant it. Another Benghazi...
Both inquiries are based far more on vibes and political machinations than they are on hard evidence.

Amtrak would not exist without tax payer dollars, but as fredtoast has observed, neither would the U.S. armed forces.
Come to think of it, the U.S. is an entity which could never have existed without taxpayer dollars... at least, it could never have existed for any appreciable length of time.
Forum member cliffw's remark is a truism. (And that's not good.)
Eric Swalwell chalked up some serious "style points" from America's thinking demographic.
Play the "Fang Fang" card, if you like... that don't mean s**t compared to the saga of Defendant Trump and the political party that still licks his Dictator of the United States-wannabe boots.

Broader climate solution ? Good luck with that. Y'all can spend all of everybody's taxes and you still will not be able to alter "mother nature" !

State wide rail service ? What other statewide rail services do you have which transports humans ?

Amtrak trains and connecting buses reach more than 150 destinations in the Golden State, including top cities such as San Diego, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, San Francisco and Sacramento; national parks; wineries; deserts and beaches.
It's a testament to the excellence of Amtrak's Board of Directors over the years, like Hunter Biden.

Between 2020 and 2022, about 30,000 more registered nurses moved into California than out to other states, according to estimates by Joanne Spetz, director of the Philip R. I've never heard or seen of anyone that said they wanted to move out of California because of Amtrak.
I only started talking about Amtrak because cliffw misspelled it as "Amtrack," after fredtoast brought up that Hunter Biden had been on Amtrak's board of directors—but I'm not seeing any further relevance to this idea of an impeachment inquiry.
Maybe it's time for this discussion, such as it is, to return from this sidetrack (see what I just did?) and start moving forwards again on the main route.
