Hamas has to also obligate to this... if they shoot at the IDF, they absolutely can shoot back.
HAMAS shooting during the four hour cease fire isn't nearly as big of a deal (unless you're the one shot at) as this give HAMAS the time to rearm, relocate, set up defenses and gain advantages of organizing, scouting and identifying IDF's weak points.. No, this is not something the IDF was/is happy about but, I feel strongly they will follow the rules.

Apparently, the "pauses" aren't as simple as we have been told. This leads me to believe that Israel has a strategic plan. They aren't the kind to give a damn what the world thinks when their survival is at stake.

If Wichita's idea of "Leftists" were narrowed to people like the people in that photograph—those street protestors—that could make some sense.
Unfortunately, Wichita throws the word "Leftist" around with the same reckless abandon as a drunken chef who sets the kitchen on fire by pouring out an entire bottle of brandy to flambé the Cherries Jubilee.
Several days ago, I cited the case of House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, a Democrat (obviously) and so, there should be no doubt that Wichita regards him as a "Leftist"... or could regard him as a "Leftist" at any moment when that suits Wichita's mood. I cited Hakeem Jeffries, but that's hardly a one-off. https://www.fiero.nl/forum/...L/000926-9.html#p320
Wichita's constant slagging on "Leftists" should always be taken with a Mount Everest-sized "grain" of salt... or at the very least, a judiciously poured shot of brandy.
It's not rational.

Yes, unfortunately... the "educated" left, primarily... the ones who have worthless degrees in gender studies, English literature, etc., these are the individuals who believe that this is a fight for racial social justice. They actually think the people in "palestine" are the dark-skinned, and the people in Israel are the white-skinned. They believe this because they've been told that the Jewish people were "colonizers," which is a stretch from the term occupiers... and they associate it with whatever history they think applies to what the British / French / Dutch / Spanish did in the 1600s... though, they conveniently leave out the Spanish because they're darker skinned, haha.

I think what's worth mentioning here is that, if these people (the "educated" uneducated) don't represent all Democrats (which they don't), then they are certainly the loudest and most attention-seeking of all Democrats... which as we know, often increases support for a cause (whether good or bad).
"A Quinnipiac University poll released this week [mid-November] found that, among Democratic voters, 41 percent surveyed said their sympathies lie with the Palestinians, while 34 percent said they were more sympathetic to the Israelis, and 25 percent were undecided."

... so there's that.
"The Enemy of our Enemy is our Friend". While most Americans consider Israel our friend anyway, in general, Iran and all of it's proxies consider the West as mortal enemies. If for no other reason, our assistance to Israel is worth the effort to defeat the Enemy that would destroy us also. Some Americans seem to have forgotten that those Israel is fighting would love to see us destroyed.

That's why I call them the uneducated... because they're so ignorant about what they're supporting. Literally oblivious. Even Ilhan Omar would be slaughtered in her homeland, because they would think a woman shouldn't have an education or power.

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the lawmaker representing Kogi Central Senatorial district, alongside the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio and other key members of the 10th Senate, on Monday, received female parliamentarians from the Republic of Somalia.
Somalia has a 54-member parliament with 14 parliamentary seats occupied by women, representing 25.93 per cent, more than eight times higher than Nigeria’s parliament with 3.67 per cent female Senators.
Similarly, in Somalia’s lower cabinet, there are 54 women out of 275 members, while the Nigerian House of Representatives has 16 out of 360 members.
The Nigerian Senate has only four female members: Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan (PDP), Ireti Kingibe (LP), Idiat Adebule (APC) and Ipalibo Banigo (PDP).

Ilhan Omar came from Somalia.
Duh, she's a US Congresswoman, do you think they're going to kill her? I mean if she wasn't in a position of power FROM THE UNITED STATES, and she started going around like she does here, in Somalia... she'd be long dead. I think that point was obvious. As a Congresswoman from the US, she's going to get the red carpet.

You're mixing this up completely.
That is a photograph from just two weeks ago, of some of the female members of Somalia's national legislative body... their equivalent of our U.S. House of Representatives.
There's no direct connection in what I just posted with Ilhan Omar.
You just said that a woman cannot have any education or achieve any political office in Somalia because any woman who tried for that would be "slaughtered."
You are engaging in hyperbole. You are exaggerating. You are being "over the top" with that assertion. I won't say that women in Somalia are on an equal footing with men in terms of their opportunities, but you've taken it too far the other way.
That's why I posted the photograph and the text that accompanied it. It is counterfactual to what you just said about Ilhan Omar's homeland, which is Somalia.

Do you agree then that this also applies to Ukraine's struggle against invading Russian forces?
Except for cliffw responding, the sound of crickets is deafening.
What was the question? Do I support Ukraine? If I say no does that imply I support Russia? Will someone be coming along in a few minutes and call me a NAZI, again?
I support peoples rights to defend themselves. I agree that Israel has been too lenient on these animals for too long and its sad that the Palestinian people are being used as tools in a conflict that should have been ended years perhaps generations ago. But they have been radicalized and if the videos have not shown this to you then you have not seen the ones I have seen.
The young broken woman in the back of the truck being spit on by the Palestinian people. While the terrorist organization continues to attack from behind them.
**** Palestine as long as they don't stand up and realize what exactly is being done to them

Why bother responding to my post at all if you don't wish to directly address the question? It's not that complicated. "Yes" or "no" would suffice (as well as "I do" or "I don't").

There is no simple answer. But I don't work for you so **** off.
For the record, I support both Ukraine and Israel.
I don't like the burden that US support puts on our military readiness and taxpayers, and would prefer that the EU provide more support to Ukraine.
I also abhor the lack of leadership from the current administration, and strongly believe that the only reason that both wars started is due to the feckless nature of the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

You really need to learn to do your own research. You are very naive.
You are just wasting everybody's time because it is easier than learning. If you learned, you would have to face the fact that you are wrong. Growth can be painful, but it is worth it.
