But if he talked about your daughter in a sex dungeon then I am glad he is gone. That sounds pretty sick.
That's the thing though... he didn't. Todd continues to spread this bullshit because fredtoast made a fool of him in each and every "discussion" they had. Read fredtoast's post Here. It has nothing to do with Todd's daughter. Even though this has been pointed out to Todd previously, he refuses to acknowledge the reality of the situation. He only believes what he wants to believe, the truth be damned.

That appears to be a joke to me. But I understand how some people can be easily offended. Maybe he should post some trigger warnings so people will know how sensitive he is.

Oh, I'm not offended. I could have cared less, I just don't want my daughter to see these things when / if she eventually decides to come on here. And Fred most certainly didn't make a fool of me in any debates / discussions... you keep saying this because I think you believe it gets under my skin. It does not, I'm pretty solid in my views, and I think the world clearly sees Democrats are insane. People who identify as Democrat now ranks at historic lows... https://www.msn.com/en-us/n...low-poll/ar-AA1mSYPZ Only 27% of the country.
You should post the thread where he defended the right to have sex with animals. Go ahead Patrick... don't cherry pick.
...and I think the world clearly sees Democrats are insane.
Of course that's what you want to believe, which needless to say has no basis in reality. Why don't we talk about how "the world" sees Trump (and his supporters). No, you can't handle the truth.

Tell you what Todd... why don't you find it (and post a link), and then we'll discuss how full of baloney you are.

And here we go... this is where Patrick goes round and round and round endlessly with anyone who will play with him.
I think Mr Pennock deleted the thread. Besides, toast would just use his stock "It was a joke" defense.
"It was a joke", "I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you are saying", "I am the center" and "you are just a bunch of uneducated rubes" are all in his toolbox.

I found the thread. This is the opening post.

It was illegal to have sex with animals in Nazi Germany and they ended up killing 5 million Jews and starting a war that killed another 70 million.
Anyone with half a brain can see that fredtoast was setting up the thread for a discussion on the logic behind, or the lack of logic, when it comes to what society does or doesn't allow. He certainly was not "supporting animal sex" (with humans, I surmise ), as Todd has desperately been trying to imply. Let it go, Todd... let it go.
No one is answering your (BingB) question because we think you're Fred, and no one wants to waste their time.
But I think the post on supporting animal sex, and the comments he made about my daughter and a sex dungeon are not lost on anyone.
I do understand though why Cliff closed the thread, as the topic heading wasn't exactly what the forum wants/needs in regards to Google search rankings. So yeah, fredtoast kind of screwed up there... but for Todd to try and suggest that fredtoast was promoting bestiality...

Looks like the largest group (those in the middle with me) looks at BOTH parties as insane.
Not disagreeing with you here... but to an extent, the Republican party has been demonized in the same way that it would be like if you brought a case of Bud Light to a party. There's kind of that uncomfortable silence where some people refuse to drink it, other people don't want to deal with the politics, etc. That's kind of the same thing when you're a Republican. For a VERY long time, it was considered "OK" to just by default consider yourself a Democrat. It meant you cared about people (not really) and live and let live. But to be a Republican means that you hate people and love big business. Like, I've had people lash out at me when they find out I'm Republican, even though they've known me for years and know I'm a good person and have helped them out a lot. Like... colleagues who are just flat-out *shocked* and then immediately make all kinds of assumptions about what I believe. It's just this inherent view that Republicans are evil. This couldn't be further from the truth... any more than Democrats are the ones who "care" about people... but that's the media narrative. So it was far more acceptable. Especially because being a Democrat was "cool" when Obama was President (at least in the beginning).
I would say that most of the public is to a degree probably still mostly socially liberal, but they don't want to be associated with what the Democrat party is known for today... Biden, Trans-issues, Inflation, and war. To that point, more than a million people have shifted from the Democrat party to the Republican party: https://www.pbs.org/newshou...-alarm-for-democrats
I'd caveat one thing... to say that people are registered as "Independent" is likely somewhat incorrect. For most states, the Independent party is actually a party. Florida has a designation called "No Party Affiliate." So I don't know if they mean registered as "other," or if they literally mean the Independent Party ?

There are two completely different media narratives. And I don't see how you try to play the victim card when the largest news media source in the world fawns over Republicans and claims Democrats are trying to "destroy everything good in this country".
From the center I can see that the extremists on BOTH sides are wrong. Dems are too naive and trusting. Reps are wrong to demonize the poor. We need some way to give a voice to the majority in the middle.

Oh... I'm not a victim. I've never been and never will be a victim. I'm simply saying that's the narrative that's pushed across the media. I don't think there's any question today that there was significant media bias.
I don't think there's any question today that there was significant media bias.
No doubt. The largest, most popular news network in the world had to pay millions in damages for their blind support of Trump. That is as biased as you can get.
But there are also news sources that are biased to the left. So everyone is free to watch whatever side they choose.
I don't think I'd ever encountered that one before. Perhaps I'm not the first, but whobody knows? Is there an official compilation or catalog online? It was inspired by the subject line of an email that I received.
I thought this was a good moment for it, and just the "right" thread... "Nihilism vs Civilization."
I think anyone would have a difficult task ahead of themselves, were they to attempt to Prove Me Wrong.
I'll repost this, and suggest that BingB watch the video, since he is a teacher of History, but doesn't seem to understand the Constitution and how beautifully our Founding Documents were written.
Wannabee dictators And why Biden_Joe is a sick deranged diddler, a psychopathic narcissist, entirely without remorse for his crimes. He may resist rejection at the polls, inflicting civil war on the people, enlisting millions of illegal aliens as an invasion army, a nasty plot of treason. Illegal Aliens, armed and coming for your stuff, all of it, right down Main St. ' What ? You're going to do something ? Like, vote Biden_Joe the eff out of the White House ? ' ' Punt the fraud the eff across the south lawn, as far as you can punt the diddler creep ! '
False equivalency argument. People in the United States don't call out racial issues in Ghana as much as issues in the United States because they can't effect change in Ghana the way they can in their own country.
I did not draw any comparisons between VDH and Jimmy Fallon.
And there you go again, with the "Royal We." Are you non-binary? Why isn't your pronoun the very singular "I" instead of the obviously plural "we"..?
As far as refuting the assertions of VDH... maybe I'll get around to focusing on one of the points he's trying to make.
But I don't need to complete that exercise to know for myself that I don't see anything good in VDH.
We is as in a group of Forum members. There is nothing special about me, why would I use 'we' to refer to myself.
Please define 'put to sleep'. You don't like his writing? The truth hurts, best you deal with it instead of living in your fantasy world where CO² is a harmful gas.....
Yeah yeah, I get it... four or five RWNJs who think they are some sort of dominant force on an obscure car site political forum. The world is your oyster!

It's a "nod" to the late Don Imus.
When I said "someone needs to put [VDH] to sleep," I was reprising Don Imus. That's what the "I-Man" (Imus) would say about someone he wanted to deride or ridicule; particularly an older person. The "put him to sleep" line was usually delivered in a satirical or not totally serious way. It wasn't meant to be taken literally. Obviously, it is suggestive of euthanasia. The line was always accompanied by chuckling from the I-Man himself and from his usual on-air acolytes... Charles McCord, Bernard McGuirk, Rob Bartlett, Sid Rosenberg—who gave way to Warner Wolf—and frequent guests Bo Dietl and Dagen McDowell.
When I experienced it, it was a simultaneous radio and TV broadcast called "Imus in the Morning." I used to watch it fairly regularly during it's 11 years run on MSNBC.
