What does the left have to gain from destroying the country. Why would they work so hard and spend so much money on policies that would destroy them?
Personally I don't think either side has all the answers. If they did then they would win all the elections and control the country. But instead it just swings back and forth between the two parties with neither ever capable of maintain control.
And what people call "political" discussions are actually about "culture" differences instead of political policies.

If the entire system collapses, then how do the elite generate income and wealth? Who pays for the upkeep and control of the masses? The masses don't seem very docile or happy with the current situation. Why would they be content when things get worse?

There was a now departed forum member named fredtoast who stood up to the echo chamber here, and they still haven't gotten over the humiliation. So because they don't believe there can be anyone else with the audacity to question the party line here (their party line), they figure anyone new here who speaks for themself must be "fred" returning under a new moniker. If you were trumpeting Trump, they wouldn't have had any issue with you. That's basically the situation in a nutshell.

Totally agree it shouldnt be called politics. It seems taken out of context, or "politics" are labels shoved into contexts they dont belong.
