Do you even know what crime was committed? Jury instructions said the jurors could decide different crimes were committed but so long as all twelve of them thought any crime happened then the judge would count it as unanimous. Is that how justice is supposed to work? Throw everything at the wall and let each juror pick and choose one to get an conviction.
That is not what the jury instructions said at all.
What is your source for this?
Each count was completely separate. Trump could have been acquitted on some and convicted on others. But every guilty conviction required a unanimous vote on that specific count.
Lol, this is not having the effect the Democrats want.
Aside from the fact that it absolutely enrages Republicans, and totally solidifies their vote for him... the ONLY people who actually want to see Trump in prison are rabid leftists. Seriously, if anyone here (yes Ray, I know) actually wants to see Trump in prison... then you are a radical leftist. Period.
For everyone else, it's making them feel really, really, uneasy right now... and good ole Joe Biden is such a moron, he's only making things worse.
PLEASE... PLEASE send Trump to jail... watch what happens.

The "law" that is most frequently forgotten and broken by Leftoids is "The Law of Unintended Consequences".
Why?
Because, like children, Leftists live primarily in their emotional moment. There is only now. There is no studied look toward the past, and most importantly, no careful consideration of possible future effects or consequences of their own actions.

In order to find the defendant guilty, however, you need not be unanimous on whether the defendant committed the crime personally, or by acting in concert with another, or both.

Although you must conclude unanimously that the defendant conspired to promote or prevent the election of any person to a public office by unlawful means, you need not be unanimous as to what those unlawful means were.

The Senate has officially voted, 52 to 48, to prevent the minority party from using a filibuster to block judicial and executive branch nominees except for those nominated to the Supreme Court.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., put the rule to a vote Thursday morning. Known as the “nuclear option,” the procedural maneuver allows the majority party to change the Senate rules with a 51-person vote, in this case used to make it more difficult for the minority party to block certain nominees with a filibuster.
Thank you Harry Reid, we will now change rules as we see fit. Harry Reid, you are responsible for Trump's THREE conservative Supreme Court Justices appointed.
Harry, people who live in glass houses should not throw stones.

I've mentioned before that most of my friends are left-leaning. I don't want to get too much into this, because this is a source of consternation. I've mentioned to them many times that people on the left tend to be a lot more "emotional," and this makes them very... well, emotional. So, I've learned to not really bring it up. Generally, I've learned that when people get upset about something you say, it's either because what you've said is true... or it was in very poor taste (haha). But in this case, I think it rings true... "leftists," tend to be more emotional.
If I'm hypothesizing here, my view is that very left-leaning people seem to base their entire personality on that of their political ideology. This is totally weird to me, because to be quite honest, I have literally no affiliation with the Republican party whatsoever. If the Democrats ran JFK Jr., and the Republicans ran Romney again... or worse Liz Cheney... watch how fast I become a Democrat. For some strange reason though, "leftists" base their being on their political ideology. It could be because they don't have any religion, and sometimes also have paternal family issues (and therefore don't have a foundation)... so they find that in their political party. This is a story told for generations... whether it's the rise of the Communist revolutionary party in China, or the Communist party in Russia, or the National Socialist Worker's Party in Germany, etc.
Either way, getting back to your point... yes... it's almost funny. How many times have Democrats opened a door that shouldn't have been opened... only to get completely screwed by it a couple of years later? Like the nuclear option, or judicial appointments... haha... I'm interested to see what happens.

Don't waste your time with him. This is his second account, after first pretending to be a professional lawyer, and more recently pretending to be a high school history teacher. That anyone would create a fake account and come up with a whole "persona" to try to give their ramblings more value... and then do it again after being banned (and from multiple forums, apparently). Well... I think you can come to the same conclusions that I have.

I admit I was wrong. I did not understand what you were saying. But to answer your original question "Yes, this is exactly how it is supposed to work."
It would be like a theft trial where half of the jury believes he stole it by sneaking through a window and the other half think he stole it by disguising as a cable repairman. As long as they are all sure he stole it then he is guilty of theft.
