1986 2M4

Just need to replace my battery and by the looks of it I am thinking that it is in wrong. My battery side terminals is pointing to ward the engine, from what I can see in pics is that it is against the back seat and the side terminals are pointing to the back of the car.
Pointing to the back the correct way?

Yeah that is what I thought. The way mine is now or the way he has the battery tray made makes it hard to clear the window.

Anyone got a battery size in dimensions?

Ive never seen or had a Fiero with the terminals towards the glass. Theyve all faced the rear, or the drivers side.

Correct. Side terminals, face the rear of the car up against the firewall on the passenger side. PO must have modded the tray or something perhaps?

Here is one I found online, though it is primered:

Here is one in the car, (though there is foil insulation that is not factory and that 'hold down' is also aftermarket):

Is there a tray that fits another vehicle or is this just for the Fiero?

Pretty sure its Fiero only, not positive tho.

But all you need is a secure battery, you can have a bracket welded in if need be.
