You started this process YEARS ago. This was one of the projects that was down at Rob's before he got hit by the car. You chose another builder. Paid it off back in December (this past December or was it the one before?) and the engine is finally getting dropped out to be made ready for the engine you've had since you first took it all to Rob.
I thought I was a patient and understanding person. You Sir, are a direct decendant of Job!
Congratulations! I am extremely excited for you! Jonathan
Has anyone done this on a car with T-tops? Hopefully will be acquiring a 88 notchie with T-tops and I have an 87 gt fastback so it'd only make sense to combine the best of both worlds! Thank you!
I have not. Not exactly sure if the back clip is the same or not regardless of "T" top or not. You could ask around on the forum and see. I have never messed with one. you could ask BoostDreamer, I know he knows a few things about them.
Car is back home after getting 3800 in, getting ready for exhaust work and now a turbo. Found a great rebuilt turbo from a grand national!! these turbos are made by garrett just for your info!! Also, have a sunroof top going on, More pics to come!!
Trying to thing of what color to paint it. My middle daughter thinks that black would be cool, I think red would too, and my wife likes yellow. If anyone has skills to see what each color would look like - can anyone do a quick photoshop?
I like those fins. They look sharp. What are they made of and how did you attach them?
Well, believe it or not, Lowe's sells a flat PVC bar in the molding section of the store. It's quite sturdy and very easy to work at the same time. It's about 5$ for 8ft of 2"x 1/4".
I agree - its does look very sharp. Definitely what I was looking for. It doesn't have that "I'm fake" appearance.
I used a PVC primer and PVC glue, it hardens quickly when you use a heat gun so be carful. Also, you can use a heat gun to manipulate the curvature in the vents.
I didn't' cut from one corner to the other (that would have been easy), instead, I started 1/4" off the very corner edge and then struck a line to the other corner. This fits much better in the vent-well when bending the material.
Hey fellow Fiero friends, My wife and I have been having a really hard time with all these doctor bills caused by some stupid lady that didn't deserve to be on the road. I have a more detailed explanation of what happened in the site below. It is getting very difficult to do anything on this car in which my wife and I could enjoy as well as my daughter. I have been working on this since 2009 and the doctor bills are killing me. I know what a great community we have and was reaching out to you guys for help, please read the following at the site below: and thank you to All who support us.....:https://de.gofund.me/jzqjt2rg&rcid=719c0d6afa6611e5a4d2bc764e049a64
