i can take some pictures of the engine taken apart .
Ok what i am thinking is to take the 4.8 crankshaft and have it stoked from 3.268 to 3.350 this way i can use the 6.250 connecting rods with a 1.305 compression height piston and this piston is a common piston height and it brings me up to 343 CI with a 4.04 bore and the stroker crank will cost me $250 for them to grind it and i will achieve this by going from 2.100 rod journal to 2.00 rod journal

i will be bringing the 4.8 crankshaft i bought to the Machine shop to have them stroke it to 3.350 with a 2 inch rod journal that combined with a 6.250 long connecting rod and a piston compression height of 1.305 and decking the block .010 i should end up with a zero piston in the hole maybe a few thousands out of the hole . 4.03 x 4.03 x .7854 x 3.35 x 8 = 341.8 CI

today i pulled the timing cover off to see if i did anything wrong when i put the timing belt on but it is nice and tight like it should be so i put a breaker bar on the front of the crank and turned the engine over it feels tight in fact to tight compared to the new engine going in i think it took the cylinder walls out
