Cool. Let me know if you want to see anything else. I can talk you through the stuff i did as well. Some of it is pretty obvious, but lots of little tweeks as well.
-Standard (3" I think?) choptop. -Lowered. -Set rear wheels our further to align with the fender. -Bigger wheels (I assume you wouldn't actually change wheels, but just making it look good in Photoshop). -2010+ Camaro side marker lights front and back. -Sharpened up the corners of the 1/4 panel scoop, and sloped it back at an angle. -Changed the angle of the bottom of the scoop at the door to slope down instead of going straight. -Added a tapered shape to the front bumper to pick up that sloping body line. -Body color fender aero trim and rocker. -Straightened the body line at the top of the door, rather than the curve that's there now. -Audi S4 rear diffuser. I brought the whole rear bumper down straight rather than slope in like it does right now in order for this to fit. I'd have to look at in person to see if you'd be better off using part of another bumper, or just shaping it yourself. It roughly follows the shape of a stock aero bumper. -Added a gloss black, contoured panel between the tail lights to make that read as a single panel. The idea is it would match the contour of your lights. Put a metal pegasus badge in there. -Brought the body up tight to the tails. Without seeing your lights in person, its hard to see how exactly it would work, but the idea was to stick with your current lights, but really fit the body to them nicely so they look like they belong. -Ferrari F355 style lip on the rear of decklid. This would be a black painted area above the lights that lets the decklid overhang as a lip spoiler. It lets you make a contoured body line at the sides without needing different tail lights. Like a 355, you could put your badge(s) there as well. I was thinking of some sort of creative play on Audi and Fiero, like the Fiero lettering over the S-line graphic that I showed, or some combination of the Audi rings and Fiero logo. A fine point I know; That's just how my brain works.
Let me know if any of that doesn't make sense. Some of the things are subtle, and it would of course be up to you if worth doing. It's very easy for me to fudge body lines in Photoshop, but I know full well how much work it can be to do the body work.
i can see i need to make the lights fit better along with make the rear of the car end with the lights so about 2 to 3 inches need to be cut off along with making a center panell out of acrylic
well this week not much going on in the shop so i will see what i can get done on the car i would like to get the body off and get the top cut as i have looked at how Archie said to do it as i did one once when in FL but i will say it was not done the way it should have been done + i hade a flux core 110v welder no gas now that i have learend much more about it i will do a much better job
you just need to do fiero chop top search and you will find many threads on it and Archie describes but not in really great detail in a video he did but good enough to get the idea of how to do it and i will say i wished i had done the car in FL like he said it should be done as far as the space frame is concerned the body work is fit sand smooth over and over until you get it smooth and blended in right and that takes along time for someone who is not a pro at bodywork but if you take your time you can do a nice job
Thanks onesexyfiero today i went and put the skins back on that GT rear clip as i had cut them off but i din't stay at the shop long as customers where trying to get me to work on my day off even with the door locked they try to get you to let them in . onesexyfiero can you 2 tone my paint with black and the red thats on the car now and 2 tone it like the Haus of Guru
Yes sir that is what i am looking for and i think it looks great thanks ! today i took the dash out i still need to take the windshield out and rear window ,front roof section and both doors then i need to tack weld in some spreder bars in the door area so when i cut it it stays put
