I placed 3M double sided exterior moulding tape on the edges. Be careful it wont want to come back off too easily. Line things up where you want so you know where you will be putting it before sticking ewverything down. Make sure also that the tape wont be visible from the side afterwards. Also I recommend a few layers of it so that the panel stands away from your paint a little when done. (Mine is a little too close , when my cars panels expand in the heat of the sun it actually rubs the sail panel a little.) I put a dab of black permatex in the center of the panel as well for extra piece of mind.
