Tried googling and have not had success finding torque specs for the pan bolts on the 4T60. How many inch lbs, or feet lbs is it?

TH125 and others Should be 8 ft/lb but 8-10ft/lb require clean and dry holes and bolts. Any lube, including anti seize, void the spec and using that most likely will strip the holes.

Also need a good pan. Most are damage by people doing oil changes etc.

Use fiber casket is better. Cork works but OE bolt torque spec will crush them and then leaks soon after.

With cork caskets, I have better luck wrapping bolts w/ Teflon tape (plumbing tape) then tight enough just for gasket to show the pressure.
use High Tack or Super "300" sealant on both sides of gasket.
I work around the bolts so all gets even pressure on the casket.

Teflon mainly act like tread lock here. Some bolts often have open threads on back of Al shell and helps keeping water etc out.
wrap so bolt tips will easy start in the holes. I think take 3-4 turns of tape to do the job.
Any Loctite often causes problems used on steel bolts in aluminum parts.

Correct, thanks brother. I have everything back together, and will be putting the cradle back in tomorrow. I have an out of town guest tonight so I had to wait. Hopefully I will be starting this baby tomorrow night and taking it for a test run, Sunday at the latest.
