The flex I bought has steel working inside and outside but also is a corrugated pipe internally. That's relieving .

Looking at the drawing, the Q414E is NOT a crossflow muffler.

The correct PN should be FB2583

Good catch! I had looked up the number online when I posted that, rather than getting it from the receipt / invoice that came with the shipment when I bought it. I should have taken more care.

Having said that...I still say the Jones Full Boar Quiet Tone is a great sounding muffler, in a great size package...once you get the right part number...

So you have the FB2583 muffler? Any sound clips of it installed? With Cat convertor or not?
See here: https://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/jex-fb2583

Someone in the comments at Summit said the muffler size they got was not the same as what was listed.

I definitely have the crossflow muffler...I just can't find my receipt to confirm the part number. I actually bought it directly from Jones Exhaust. Unfortunately, they now require you go through a dealer. I had no issues with the size.

Here is the last video I took with sound. However...note that this was recorded on my phone so the sound quality isn't great. This was also prior to installing a new chip from Stickpony...so the engine was still running rough. The engine appears to sound quite loud, so note the volume of the starter motor for a frame of reference.
