87-88 doesn't use booster filter
22P have it but only 84-86... "19. FILTER. PWR BRK BOOS (1986) 17085016" on 86-88 page

All Fiero and many others over many years use same Check Valve. GM 18003614
Use web search or try dorman... Get thru many auto parts stores in Help!
Valve And Grommet 80189
Valve Only 80190
Grommet Assortment 80191

Rockauto has acdelco and raybestos. same # cover all fiero

84-86 Fiero have a filter in the booster vacuum line and looks like a Small can in Booster's vacuum line, bolted to firewall. If the filter is blocked, it will cause problems with the brake booster. Upgrade Booster? Check/replace the filter or new booster performance will suffer as well. This filter, or an equivalent to it, can be found in the MotorMite Master Catalog. It may even be on the shelf in some stores.

He asked for 88. 87-88 does not use them from the factory.

Metal filter was dropped from GM years ago.
Dorman (MotorMite Help! and other brands.) filter is Plastic and many have problem using them in Fiero because plastic can melt. Very easy w/ V6. Dorman filter needs to move away from exhaust, try use a heat shield, or just bypass w/ copper tube.

I'm updating that section now. The booster Link is dead.
