The stock Series 2 fuel rail can be turned around on the engine if you modify it, if I remember correctly. But it has been a long time since I've used a Series 2 fuel rail on a 3800 swap I've done.
The reason why is because I've been using returnless 3800 Series 3 stainless fuel rails in all my Series 2 and 3 Supercharged 3800 swaps. They look nice and only require 1 fuel line to be plumbed up to the top of the engine.

If you run a returnless rail with a Series 2 PCM, you'll need a vacuum/boost referenced fuel pressure regulator somewhere in the system. I like to install them down by the factory Fiero fuel filter location:
