I've had my front lip bolted on for a couple years now but I've decided to have it molded on. My question is what would I use to mold it on? I've done quite a few searches but i can't find the answer I'm looking for. The lip is fiberglass so I'm not sure if fiberglass and bondo would work or if I would use smc. Thanks in advance

If you're talking about bonding the fiberglass spoiler to the urethane bumper - I wouldn't do it. IMO there's no way to make it so that it won't crack out.
If you want to spend a lot of work & considerable money, get a fiberglass front bumper & you can 'glass the spoiler to that.

I really wouldn't do that...so first time you take a steep driveway you crack the front bumper and spoiler in half.

There are two types of fiberglass chin spoilers,

1) those that are broken
2) those that are not broken yet.

I agree with the replies above.

Been there, done that... on both accounts. One of my earlier attempts at fiberglass work involved trying to mold fiberglass pieces to the stock (urethane) bumpers. They started cracking after about a year. I then made a custom front clip, all fiberglass. A couple close encounters with obstacles broke the bottom section of the front clip into pieces. The latest iteration of my custom front end has a 4" tall skirt of thin flexible plastic along the bottom of the front clip. This one seems to be the winner.
