I found a thread posted in 2004 by Spyhunter that is now archived.
It was about Automatic Shift Kit Installation and it had a link to the instructions, which he had written, outlining the steps on installing the Trans Go shift kit for automatics. Unfortunately, the link is no longer available and is a dead end.
Does anyone have his instructions documented?
If so, would it be possible to post it once again so that I (and others) could copy and print it?
This would be a good write up to keep in forum's "How to's."
It's too bad the write-up was linked and not written into the post.
Thanks for any help.

It's missing some pictures, but may have enough info.

The TransGo shift kit that I bought came with pretty detailed instructions. But that was about 10 years ago. And yeah, the shift kit made a difference. It made the old TH125c more snappy.

Thank you for the link and the replies.
I've had the side pan off years ago to change the lock-up solenoid which had failed.
I have the shift kit and have gone over the detailed instructions. Modifying the valve body after it is removed does not look to be too difficult.
Removal of the valve body is what I'm most concerned with. I have a shop manual and it tells you to remove the bolts except for bolt "A" which is labeled on a diagram.
It would have been helpful if they told you how many bolts needed to be removed or showed a picture of all the ones on the drawing.
Maybe it will be obvious when I remove the cover and examine the valve body.
One picture the manual has which is very helpful, is where the check balls reside. There are 5 in the case and one in the valve body.
The ball locations are consistent with the shift kit instructions as well as the shop manual.
I had previously called the Mr. Shift help line and was told to use a small dab of vasoline to hold the balls in the cavities upon assembly.
Any other advice?

Its makes a huge difference as it eliminates slips between shifts. Shifts become firmer and more positive. As for the installation of the shift kit , its far easier to do with the transmission out but can be done with it in place. The instruction sheet is pretty good in these kits. You've just got to make sure that everything is assembled back in place correctly. Study the instructions take your time, do it step by step and its not hard. Take pictures as you disassemble to insure proper reassembly, replace the TCC solenoid as a preventative measure and do not use gasket sealer on the pan gaskets.

One other question.
When you remove the governor to replace the spring, do you have to remove the exhaust manifold first or will it clear?
