I would like to relocate the oil pressure sender right off the motor itself. Anyone foresee any problems? I am also going to upgrade to the 88 style sender as well.

It's a little more difficult on AC equipped cars, but it can be done. You'll need a 90 degree street elbow with 1/4 NPT male on one end and female on the other end. You might even need Rodney's fitting to go along with it.

Here's a picture of one that f85gtron did. The AC isn't shown, but he later installed the compressor and it's mounts.

Do it just like the 2.8s were done. a 90 degree fitting, a 5/16" steel line to "wherever you want it" and a female fitting for your sender. I've done it many times. I always put it somewhere that you can just " Lay your hand on it". LOL

while you're at it, put a "T" in the line for a Mechanical pressure gauge !

Lou, I thought about a gauge but thats just one more thing to go wrong or leak. ha

The plan is just to keep it down low and out of site. The original is just a massive (literally) eye sore.

That is a 45° elbow fitting. Hope this helps.
