WHAT can I rob a "shrader valve" off of to splice into the "4 cyl Fuel line" (1985) for a Fuel Pressure Gauge ? I've got a few from 3800s, but the tubing looks too large in diameter.**

seems the aftermarket ones only come WITH A GAUGE, don't need the gauge. thanks

I forget if there is accessible rubber fuel line in the duke engine bay, but if there is, you could do something similar to what I'm doing with my Subie.

I'm using two 5/16" (8mm) brass hose barbs screwed into either end of a brass tee. All threads are 1/8" FPT/FIP/MIP, which match those on the fuel pressure gauge.

.

It's possible the duke fuel lines would require slightly smaller hose barbs (1/4"?), so double-check if going this route.

Permanent Fuel Pressure gauges should be a gauge made for the use. Any cheap gauges often leaks and very bad for you.

testing only See my Cave, TBI Test Adaptor

Duke Link above work with the fuel filter.
Others replace the filter.
but cave #'s have change or discontinued. some new # listed in other threads.

found this now... https://www.amazon.com/Tool...s-Test/dp/B001DUV4GA replace the filter for testing w/o bending etc to fit.

L4 only runs 9-13psi and most 100psi gauges can't read low pressure accurately.

ended up using a aluminum AC "T" with shrader valve and cap, Worked perfectly, $4. holds exactly 13 PSI at all times. But drops like a rock the second it's shut off !
