And whose did you buy? Fiero store or Russell's? Any fitment issues? Quality concerns? I realize that OE replacements are just fine, but actually cost the same. I figured I would simply upgrade anyway. Any input is appreciated! Russell 692110 is the part number, at quick glance.
It seems that we'll soon find out. $99 shipped from summit racing, and it'll be here overnight. I need to replace the front calipers on Manda's 88 this Sunday since we are driving it to Tennessee the following Saturday. Here's to hoping that the fronts are the majority of the culprit.
I have the Russell brake lines on my stock '88 GT as well as my modified '88 GT. They fit and work very well, but they don't come with anything to hold it to the upper control arm. You'll need to buy some small clamps to hold the lines away from the wheel. I tried modifying the stock brackets, but wound up damaging the braided line (kept binding up and eventually snapped the end off).
I just use a sturdy zip tie on the rear ones (attached to the strut)...seems to work just fine.
To answer the fitment question....yes, they fit all '84-'88 Fieros.
I have the Ocelot lines from the Fiero Store; They fit and work well....I too used Heavy duty zip-ties in the rear between the lines and the strut. 1985 SE V6 with 88 rear subframe and 88 brakes all around.
I just went down to the store, Hose-man.. 25min from here .. and just made me some on the spot.. I believe, any hose specialty store could make them for you .. no shipping cost too. Just bring the old. I don't remember the cost, though, for the brake lines.. they made my oil cooler to/ and return lines also.

I appreciate everyone's input. I will post pictures of the Russell hoses either tonight or tomorrow, and comment on fitment when I install at least the fronts on Sunday. Manda's 88 almost definitely has a collapsed hose based on how it brakes and kicks the brake light on without loss of fluid.
Some pics of the bare product. No clips for securing the slack line, I will either reuse the OE clips from the original hoses, or use heavy duty zip ties. Very smooth and attractive.
What a massive fail. I could NOT get the OE brake lines off at the flare fitting. Stripped one side, started to strip the other side, and called it quits. I opted to replace the calipers anyway. They are installed and bled, but the brakes still do not work well at all. The brake light comes on when the soft pedal reaches full travel, then shuts back off once the pedal is pumped a little. The car can be driven, but shouldn't be. Starting to suspect the master cylinder. No evidence of leaks, and the rubber hoses bled just fine.
