I tried with limited success. I then bought a new one for my Indy...

You could give this method I hadn't seen a try though (hydrogen peroxide)

I thought it was rather funny that the guy in the video thought the peroxide might rejuvenate the orange plastic. Obviously he's not clear on the concept of bleaching with peroxide!

If you're asking me about the one I bought - nope.
I also bought the windshield washer reservoir from TFS.

Just washing them inside and out with dish soap and water will restore a LOT of the color. It won't look like new but it'll be close.

Can help or not. Same as others above.

Many times weak or no coolant allows rust etc and that can stains the plastic.
Can try "CLR" etc but can attach metal at bottom of OV thank.
Spray/poor some in the tank and move the puddle around avoiding bottom tube.

can try borax based cleaner too. Oxy clean, 20 Mule Team Borax, etc. might take longer to clean.

Clorox sloshed around and left to sit overnight may brighten up the reservoir. Rinse the following day and it might improve the look.

Actually, the retr0bright process reduces and removed the leaching of whatever fire retardant that was used in these plastics. So it does help with colored plastic as well. Not so much the sun fading, but It wouldn't bleach a colored plastic that was not otherwise faded.

I don't think it would work well on coolant tanks though. Wrong process, they're more stained than anything.
