Keep in mind the fuel level. I assume since 1/2 is half tank, 3/4 is three quarters full, 1/1 would be full?
I have read that a gallon of gas weighs approx 6 lbs.

I was reading the list and finally read the very last car. 455, blown, and intercooled? Really? Anyone got pics of that thing? I’m a GTO (original) nut and have always wanted to put a 455 Poncho in one of these Fieros.

I had my 1985 SE V6 weighed with; 3.4 F-body engine, getrag 5spd, 88 rear subframe/suspension, and 86-88 GT rear quarters(Without ground effects)...No A/C, PW, PM, PL ,and the battery is up front. Total weight was 2640 with a 43.5/56.5 weight distribution.....Oh yeah, I have a tool kit, spare IM and coil, and a gallon of coolant up front. The accuracy would be pretty good,....the scales were for weighing vehicles before placing them on C-130s......

I do not know what the fuel level was...I was more interested in distribution.....After adjusting the rear coil-overs, I had 570 lbs on each front tire and 750 lbs on each rear.

Do a search for 455 Fiero and there is an orange one with the engine taking up the whole rear of the car....No trunk, and I would suggest the weight dist' would be worse than 40/60......

Hmm that car wasn't at the 35th, the orange 455 car with the olds trans was at the 30th. Maybe this is a combo list from both shows.

My car is the 86 GT with 2.2 ecotec. It was weighed at the 30th show, I did not make the 35th. I have since shed some weight by getting rid of the muffler and tearing out most of the AC stuff . Car now weighs 2746 lbs.

Absolutely great info and its good to know that the aluminum block 4.9L Cadillac doesn't add much weight.

i understand that at least at the 30th the guy that weighed the cars weighed each wheel. It would be interesting to know the front/rear weight distribution.
