Pulling my interior apart for refurbishing. Took off the ECM cover/armrest and removed the passenger seat and found these two cables with red and green connector ends. What are they? Edit: Sorry, can't seem to get photos to load. Cables appear to be factory, one long one coming from ECM ends with the red connector. Short one attaches under seat bolt ends with green. Where's other end of long one? Is not factory to ground anything to chair hardware or other wire simply pass thru firewall. ------------------ Dr. Ian Malcolm: Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should. (Jurassic Park)

Those are not stock, so they could have been for anything, but most likely for an alarm or amp.

>>Ejector seat Power<< ...........BINGO!!!!! (Missing the optional C4)
Back when I was very young we had just seen Goldfinger with that fancy Aston Martin...My Father bought a 64 T-Bird which had a whole bunch of switches for this and that....My Mom stated she was afraid that at some point she would hit a button for the ejector seat....(That was the Best T-Bird ever)

I'm thinking hookups for an aftermarket amplifier.

The connectors are Anderson Power Pole.. good for high currents. Never used by the factory, and usually just industrial use. My guess is a plate amp, which takes a lot of Amps.

Thank you, guys! I was certain they were factory because of the way it came out of the firewall.

Definitely not stock, and certainly heavy current. Could be anything? Sorry to repeat others but....

Yep, they were apparently for a plate amp the PO had installed and removed when sold, leaving the hook ups. As I'm adding after-market PWs and PDLs, it's a convenient place to pull power from.
