Does anyone have starter wires like this? I forgot how I took off. But I know one side should have a smaller connector and mine are both big and I’m sure one side should be smaller so it will connect to starter on the small post. I tried to find a Diagram.
1 side is blk and green.
Other side is blk and brown.

The solenoid wire should be purple, generally. I believe those are both grounds.

What year and engine? I'll check the manuals/diagrams I've got.

They Are Not "Starter wires" but Grounds.
They often went to Stud Top bolts to mount trans on engine or stud top head bolt.
Can go anywhere except exhaust manifolt bolts etc.

Otherwise can be "A Hot Time in the Ol' Fiero Tonight" thread again...

Those appear to be G503 and G504. They should go to the back of the forward cylinder head. But as Ogre said, they can go anywhere except the exhaust.

I have a 86 gt 2.8l. So it looks like the blk and green go on larger post on starter?

I think I have it figured out. I have engine pulled and forgot about positive cable for battery. Correct me if wrong but I think both of this wires go to smaller post and this one in photo only go to larger post on starter?

No. Both of the wires in the first picture are grounds. Neither goes to the starter.

The heavy wire from the battery goes to the large lug on the starter. There should be a purple wire that attaches to the smaller lug.

No!
They are Grounds going to a bolt on engine.

OE bolt is this: (This is L4 engine rear side view but GM use 2 of them to mount trans to engine for most cars.)
CLICK FOR FULL SIZE

This is a bolt w/ other side hidden is often a bigger diameter and thread.

Starter big is + to battery. Not a ground.
Starter Small one is + to ignition switch. Not a ground.
