Subject says it all. I am going to install a remote start/keyless entry system in my '88 GT and am trying to figure out how many relays I will have to add to get the right polarity pulse.

I have the FSM as a PDF, but finding the schematics I need sure seems to be more difficult than it needs to be!

Appreciate your help!

In your 88 Manual, look at wiring diagram page 8A-130-01

You will need 2 relays (lock & unlock) between your remote start/keyless entry system module and Door Lock Relay assembly.
The new relays should be wired to provide +12v to A (unlock Black) or B (lock Lt Blue) wiring to the Door Lock Relay assembly.

Door Lock Relay assembly is under dash on passenger side.
You should be able to find wiring on the driver's side from driver's side door switch to tap into.
In your 88 Manual, look at diagram page 8A-201-12 Figure D
