So I'm hoping to have the 3.4 in and running by tomorrow night, but I can't figure out what these wires go to. I can't see them in the FSM but it almost looks like they may have been connected to the starter bolts? Any help?

I agree... but might want to double-check!

That was my first thought--gound wires. Hopefully someone who is sure will chime in!

The left set is the O2 sensor ground (tan) and ECM ground. The right should be another ECM ground. Not sure about the green one. One of the transmission bolts should have threads on the end for those grounds.

As noted they are ground wires and they do attach on the trans stud right above the starter.

Correct.
