I posted a WTB in the mall section for the lower intake for an 88 V6. My question is if this part is the same for all V6 years or is this an 87-88 or just an 88 part exclusively? Your help is appreciated. Thanks.

BTW, if necessary I'll buy the fuel rail and upper plenum as well. I don't need these though.

We should have all those parts here in the shop but they would be very expensive to ship. We are only 20 minutes from the PA border near New Hope, PA so you might want to pick them up. If interested send PM and I will start looking in the garage.

Lowest ?

I refer to the three intake manifold components as top (with "Fiero" on it), middle and lower.

Not only in Fieros, but I'm pretty sure they're all the same across GM's entire product line... so a lower intake from a Citation would work in a Fiero.

Do note that some apps have the IAC passage (such as Fiero), whereas others don't (Such as 3.4 Camaro).

Dennis fixed me up with the part I needed. Turns out I needed the center section. I wasn't aware this intake has 3 sections. Thanks all.

F-body 3.4 LIMs are almost the same but they have some port blocked, IIRC... I seem to recall that depending on what you did with the motor it was irrelevant? Was it the coolant sensor or fan switch? I think with the 7730 conversion it made the fan switch irrelevant.

The fan switch is irrelevant with the 7730 upgrade only if you have it reprogrammed that way. The cold start injector port is eliminated on the 3.4 lower intake and the injector isn't needed with the 7730. I'm not sure if ithe 3.4 lower maniold has the IAC vacuum port or not. I think the cold start and fan switch ports are still there but one of them was possibly used for the knock sensor on the 3.4.

The knock sensor is on the side of the block.
