So I got a screaming deal on some 90mm headlights with a harness. Im thinking now that I have laid things out im routing things wrong. All of the install photos and such from 10+ years ago are just dead links.

First and foremost im going to have to clean some rust and paint.

I had some extra screw holes up on the firewall so i tossed the relays here.

the cables are super long so i thought maybe it was suppose to go there, however now this grommet does not work right.

I read some things where it sounded like the route was to take it across here to the other light

Im starting to think i need to move the relays by the headlight bucket and only sneak a 12awg wire through the original grommet.

Today i took the buckets and sprayed them.

While those dry I worked on wire routing.
I moved everything to the headlight bucket and routed the cables.

as you can see now my grommet fits again as i was able to just sneak an extra cable through it.

Got this cross cable bolted down and secured.

Now that the cables in the front area are all secure and routed I put in the new bucket

I set down the hood and.... hmmm somethings not right. The hood was a struggle to close ( i was careful)

I look and see its hanging up on these bolts that i have swapped around.

I can not put these bolts in the other way

I loosen the bolt and re close the hood.

Much better

Now i need to figure out the bolt situation
Get the other bucket installed
Finnish running my hot cable through the interior and to the batt.

Decided id do a measure of the old vs new

Flipped the bolts around. It was just the one ear that was too snug all others were fine. I had to fuss with the passenger side a bit because it was hanging up on the door. Installed the other bucket

I finished running the cable through the car and to the battery.
