Hi, all of a sudden one day my passenger side turn signal stays a solid on. My driver side will blink normally. So I have to move the thing up and down to emulate blinking when I’m driving for the passenger side. Another clue is when I power my headlights then the passenger side turn signal indicator is also solid it on. When I had the passenger side light out I could bend around the pack of wires connected to the front passenger side turn signal bulb and it would work in my garage OK. Then I put the light back in and went driving and it was saw it on again. It seems clear it’s related to that area but the wires are all all tight and wrapped up so I didn’t want to dig and all that unless I had more advice on it first. What do you think? Thanks

Most likely a bad bulb or ground. Sockets are 30 years old. Remove bulb(s) clean the contacts. Use a bulb grease' to improve electrical contact.

And that can be any bulb bad or socket w/ ground problems...

Bulb Grease isn't really for better connections. Is to prevent "rust" on the bulb, relays, and other terminals.
That grease won't run when hot or eat plastic parts. Get at many parts stores in small packs.

I actually already did both front turn signal bulb sockets and completely cleaned them and greased them. I will double check the link from ogres cave to. Thank you

I fixed it. It turned out that the turn signal light bulb socket has the turn signal wire coming into the side of the socket. That little wire plugged into it was kind of loose and I pulled it out and saw that half of the end of the terminal was broken so I ended up just bending the lead on the end of the wire and putting it back in and it held securely and was touching the contact fine so that’s all it was.
