Hey folks,

I'm installing a new fuel pressure regulator but I don't recall how this plate is set. Does it fit between the two flaps on the fuel pressure regulator or does it go completely underneath the fuel pressure regulator etc.

I searched through the forums and even went through a bunch of Google images and repair manuals and nothing mentions the plate. From what I can tell the plate isn't needed and I can just put the fuel pressure regulator cap right on top and bolt it down.

Anyone have any tips for me? If the plate is not needed then that's fine, just want to make sure I do this thing right. Thank you very much!

The metal ring goes on the cap on the outside of the regulator. It's a load spreader for the screws.
