Hey guys,

I replaced my stock fuel/temp gauge with an aftermarket Fuel gauge bcc the stock one was reading incorrectly. I got Jack to fix and recalibrate it. Now im installing the stock one back in my gauge cluster.

Issue im having is, im not the one who installed the aftermarket one in the first place, there was some modification to the wiring harness...so im not 100% sure which wires are supposed to go where...below is a picture of the wiring harness and aftermarket gauge. Can someone please tell me which wire goes to which posts on the stock gauge?

Thank you in advance!

That appears to be a lighting plug for a trailer, so there is no way to tell what goes where from your picture.

Post a picture of the other part of the trailer plug showing the Fiero wires hooking to the trailer plug wires.

Or, if you want it done correctly, you can reattach the proper wires to the plugs that go into the instrument cluster. I can direct you to the proper wires and terminals.

That is the preferred way to reinstall the stock gages.

The most expedient way to fix your problem is to reattach the cut wires from your harness to the plug that is installed in the instrument cluster housing.
The recalibrated gage can then be plugged into it's location in the cluster, the plug reinstalled to the cluster housing, and everything should work as it should.

The wires coming out from under the dash are the ones we will be hooking back up to the plug.
The plug has numbers on it.

Black - Ground - #11
Pink - 12v IGN - #9
Light Green - Temp Signal - #13
Gray - Illumination - #3 or #15 (whichever one of the two gray wires was used is where the repair should be made)

Hope this helps you get it fixed.
